jeff oaster Pretty incredible album. It's metal, but has a very country/Southern Rock sound. I can't even think of a band to compare them to Favorite track: Endless Summer.

abnormal_listening_habits I dont know what to coin this genre of music except that you need to hear it, once you do you'll feel like I did you'll need to own it as well. Favorite track: Land of the Sky.

Swann I first found this band through their Ramble Beyond album. American Hollow beats it IMO. Endless Summer is so calming and meaningful that you can truly feel the unison of emotion coming from the band mates. It's so hard not to feel the wave of goosebumps spreading over you at the album's close. Favorite track: Endless Summer.

REVIEWS

"I haven’t heard anything quite like this all year long, and I’ve listened to damn near a 1000 different albums at this point, mostly good, some great, and a few, like Bask, get the nod as being magnificent.
~Ripple Music

"This record is a must-listen, I promise it doesn’t sound like anything else you’ve heard; if you’re looking for something to break the status-quo, Bask are for you."
~Metal Blast

It’s a record that knows what it wants to be, and each song plays like a completed sentence in a well-told story.
~Mountain Xpress

"There is something eerie about this album, it conjures up images of a slow boat making it's way along the Mississippi river, surrounded by a thick mist. Bask are good at this, I suggest you get on this slow boat."
~The Sludgelord

"What we are left with to ponder is an album that is, at times, jaw-dropping in it’s ability to mold a unique and captivating sound around such a tangled web of genre label red tape.  It’s ascendancy of the highest order."
~Lonesome Noise

"In today’s “post rock” world, the spacey/psychedelic to heavy part has been done quite often but not as seamless as BASK does it. These guys give me hope that good rock bands still exist."
~Rock n Reel

about

BASK Asheville, North Carolina

Letter to the listener:
Progressive; heavy; psychedelic; americana, have all been used to describe Bask. Truth is, we want rhythm heard for miles, melodies remembered for weeks and an honesty and sincerity felt to your bones. Most of all we want you to listen without concern for what you are hearing. To listen only for the sake of hearing.
