American Hollow

HunterDuke This song has one of my favorite changes.
The galloping beat finally breaks free, and you can't help but daydream of falling cliffs, cracking earth, and flying gunshots, in slow motion.

One of the most intense live performances I've ever seen. Favorite track: High Mountain Pass.

Michael F. As original and captivating as any record I have heard in recent memory; no pretense, just a stellar melding of styles that defies description; stoner-tinged americana alt-post rock? If BAND OF HORSES turned up their amps and sold their shit on All That's Heavy? or is "perfect" a genre? A favorite that continues to blow my mind... This is gold worth mining for years to come. Favorite track: High Mountain Pass.

Paul Inglesfield This is one of the best records Ive heard in a long while. Made an impact on me from the first minute. Deserves your attention. This one is coming with me to the grave. Look forward to future releases. New favourite band BASK. Favorite track: Land of the Sky.

"I haven’t heard anything quite like this all year long, and I’ve listened to damn near a 1000 different albums at this point, mostly good, some great, and a few, like Bask, get the nod as being magnificent.
~Ripple Music

"This record is a must-listen, I promise it doesn’t sound like anything else you’ve heard; if you’re looking for something to break the status-quo, Bask are for you."
~Metal Blast

It’s a record that knows what it wants to be, and each song plays like a completed sentence in a well-told story.
~Mountain Xpress

"There is something eerie about this album, it conjures up images of a slow boat making it's way along the Mississippi river, surrounded by a thick mist. Bask are good at this, I suggest you get on this slow boat."
~The Sludgelord

"What we are left with to ponder is an album that is, at times, jaw-dropping in it’s ability to mold a unique and captivating sound around such a tangled web of genre label red tape.  It’s ascendancy of the highest order."
~Lonesome Noise

"In today’s “post rock” world, the spacey/psychedelic to heavy part has been done quite often but not as seamless as BASK does it. These guys give me hope that good rock bands still exist."
~Rock n Reel

Progressive; heavy; psychedelic; americana, have all been used to describe Bask. Truth is, we want rhythm heard for miles, melodies remembered for weeks and an honesty and sincerity felt to your bones. Most of all we want you to listen without concern for what you are hearing. To listen only for the sake of hearing.
